Why Future Maven exists
Humanity is entering an age of accelerating change. Many people are excited, many are frightened, most are uncertain. Future Maven exists to help ordinary people participate in that future rather than fear it.
From scarcity to abundance
For thousands of years, civilization was shaped by scarcity — of expertise, information, labor, and opportunity. Today those assumptions are being challenged. AI is making expertise available on demand, information is everywhere, and the barriers to learning and building are falling. For the first time, it’s possible to imagine a world where abundance is the norm rather than the exception. That transition isn’t automatic, and it isn’t guaranteed. It has to be built.
Why trust is the throughline
Future Maven grew out of a lifetime of watching systems — and learning that human systems are often harder than technical ones. Ventures were repeatedly disrupted by dishonest actors and broken incentives. The lesson became one of our central themes: technology alone is not enough. Prosperity requires trustworthy systems. Abundance without trust is fragile. That’s why everything we build is transparent, logged, and yours to control.
